Asian Seared Ahi Tuna Salad with Crispy Spicy Lime Pepitas
INGREDIENTS
6 (4 ounce) ahi tuna fillets
2 Tbsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp of grated
fresh ginger
1 clove garlic,
minced
1 green onion,
thinly sliced
1 teaspoon lime
juice
1 teaspoon toasted sesame
seeds
¼ cup AzarÒ Chef XpressÒ Spicy Lime Pepitas
1 lb crisp salad
greens
½ cup
julienne red onion and red bell pepper
6 oz sesame ginger
salad dressing, prepared
DIRECTIONS
Mix the marinade
ingredients together and coat the tuna fillets with the marinade, for a
stronger flavor refrigerate for 4-6 hours
Heat
sauté pan over medium high to high heat. Cook to desired doneness.
Remove from pan and
slice. Sprinkle with a few green onion slices.
Arrange greens on
plates; add onions, peppers and the Azar Spicy Lime Pepitas.
Top with sliced tuna and drizzle with the dressing.
